He has completed his education in BA (Hons) LL.B. in 1984 and\u00a0 started his practice and LL.M. in 2013 . He then joined judicial service in the year 1992. He has served as CJJD and JMFC and then Promoted as Senior Civil Judge in the year 2004. He was then promoted as District and Sessions Judge in January 2011 and served for further 9 years. During his tenure he has conducted all type of Civil and Criminal cases. Primarily, he has an experience of cases under MMC Act. He had also held a position of a Special Judge for E.D. court for approximately three years in Mumbai and has handled all type of cases of White collared criminals. He has handled cases of Vijay Mallaya, Lalit Modi, Zhakir Naik and other well known cases like Arun Gawali and others. He is associated with and member of executive council of Retired Judicial officers sangh Maharashtra.
